Johannes Bobeck was the half brother of Anders Hedberg, my great great grandfather, the father of Johanna Hedberg. Anders’ father died young, and his mother Stina remarried.
Johannes left Sweden in 1869. His children and grandchildren followed. Those grandchildren and my grandfather Carl Adolf were second cousins.
Here is one of Johannes’s grandsons, William, with his children. William was born on July 1, 1870, and almost exactly a year older than Carl Adolf. He arrived in the US in 1888. I’m looking for family likeness, and maybe there is something if you look at Wallace to the left.
